Terms of service
Last updated 15 October 2026
These terms apply when you use this website, create a client account or pay for a service from Meris Design. By creating an account you agree to them.
Who these services are for
The services are for businesses and people acting for a business. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
Your account
- Keep your login details private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Tell me straight away if you think someone else has accessed it.
- I link a website to your account once you and I have agreed to work together.
Website projects
Each new website or redesign is agreed separately. The quote for your project sets out what is included, the price, how it is paid and who owns the finished work. If anything in a quote differs from these terms, the quote applies to that project.
Monthly services
- Monthly services such as hosting and management, the booking system and live chat are billed in advance each month by card through Stripe.
- All monthly services for one website are combined into a single subscription.
- Services continue each month until you cancel. You can cancel from the billing page in your dashboard. See refunds and cancelling for the details.
- If a price changes, I will tell you before the new price applies to your account.
- If a payment fails and is not resolved, I may pause the affected services until it is.
Your content
You are responsible for the text, images and other material you give me to publish, and for having the right to use them. Please do not upload anything unlawful or anything that belongs to someone else without permission.
Using the dashboard
Use the dashboard for your own websites and requests only. Do not try to access other accounts, disrupt the service or upload malicious files.
Availability
I work to keep websites and the dashboard available and secure, but no online service can promise to be available without interruption. Planned maintenance will be kept short where possible.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, I am not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost business, and my total liability for a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service in the twelve months before the claim.
Ending the relationship
You can stop using the services and delete your account at any time. I may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why where possible.
Changes and contact
If these terms change in a way that matters, I will update the date above and tell clients before the change applies.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
